On 30/5/2020 a New Directive has been entered in force and Postpones the application of Directive A.1018/2020 . According to this directive (Article 7 paragraph 5) all Commercial Yachts of Foreign Flag which have no Greek Charter License were obliged to pay VAT 24% on the part of the charter performed in Greece.

With the Same Directive the VAT on Charters for the Greek Flag Yachts or Foreign Commercial Yachts officially licensed in Greece remains 12%
